Christian Horner, Team Principal of the Red Bull F1 Team, refutes accusations of misconduct.
Red Bull’s Formula One team principal, Christian Horner, has refuted allegations of misconduct towards a member of the racing team. An independent investigation, initiated by Red Bull last week, is currently underway.
“I obviously deny fully the allegations that have been made against me,” Horner stated to CNN during the unveiling of the team’s new season car. “There’s an ongoing process, and that obviously is being worked through at the moment.”
Horner declined to comment further on the timing of the decision, citing it as a company matter.
Earlier this month, Dutch news outlet De Telegraaf reported accusations of inappropriate behavior by Horner towards a member of Red Bull Racing, according to unnamed sources. The report did not disclose the identity of the team member or elaborate on the circumstances.
Red Bull issued a statement confirming the initiation of an independent investigation by an external specialist barrister, emphasizing the company’s serious approach to such matters.
Horner, who assumed the role of Red Bull team principal in 2005, has led the team to considerable success, including overseeing seven drivers’ championships and six constructor championship victories during his tenure.
