During service disruption, Facebook and Instagram experience outage impacting thousands.

If you’ve recently found yourself abruptly ejected from your Facebook or Instagram feed, don’t fret – you’re not the only one experiencing this issue.

At present, Meta’s popular social media platforms are encountering technical difficulties, rendering both Instagram and Facebook inaccessible for many users, who are instead greeted with error messages citing “failure to load” pages. According to DownDetector, an online service monitoring platform performance, there were over 461,000 reported outages at 10:37 a.m., although this figure has since diminished. Similarly, Instagram registered over 25,000 reported outages at 10:51 a.m., with the number of affected users peaking at over 70,000.

Furthermore, it appears that associated apps are also facing disruptions.
